Deep Stretch: Building an Evening Flexibility Practice
A focused workshop on flexibility routines — practical, structured, and built around what actually works when you practise consistently from home.
Evening is one of the most underused windows for flexibility work. The body is warm from a full day of movement, cortisol levels are dropping, and there is a natural opportunity to slow down. Yet most people either skip stretching entirely or do a rushed five-minute cooldown that does not achieve much.
This masterclass teaches a structured 25-minute evening routine that builds progressively over six weeks. The focus is on passive and active-assisted stretching techniques that work with your body at the end of the day rather than demanding effort it does not have left.
The gap this fills
There are plenty of yoga classes and general fitness programs that include some stretching. What is harder to find is a course specifically designed around evening physiology, recovery goals, and the practical reality that most people are tired by 7pm. This program accounts for that.
Instructor Petra Vanlinden has worked with desk workers, cyclists, and performing artists for over a decade. Her approach draws on proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques adapted for solo practice at home, with no equipment beyond a mat and a folded blanket.
Realistic expectations
Noticeable changes in range of motion typically take between three and six weeks of consistent practice. Some areas respond faster than others. The course is honest about this and includes guidance on how to track your own progress without obsessing over daily variation.
Flexibility training done in the evening tends to stick better because the nervous system is less reactive and the body accepts load more readily.
All sessions are live-recorded with a small group, giving them a natural, unscripted feel. Replays are available within 24 hours of each session.
Flexibility is a physical skill that responds to consistent, deliberate practice — not to occasional effort or motivational bursts.

Petra Vanlinden, course instructor - The evening window is genuinely different from morning training. Once people experience that difference, they rarely go back to skipping it.
